Here’s Why...

Everyone is unique with a special set of circumstances, history, and concerns.  Trying to go-it-alone with a cookie-cutter program may work for some, but not for most people.  A personal coach can provide the skills and knowledge to tailor the program to work best for each individual while also addressing the unique set of concerns the individual may have as they move through the program. Having that kind of guidance and support allows people to achieve the results they are looking for and deserve for a vibrant and fulfilling future.

How to Get Started

​​

STEP 1 - The Intro call

During our call, we will discuss your current health situation as well as your weight and health goals, answer any questions you may have, and decide whether this is the right time for you to move forward with the program. If the answer is “YES!,” we will process your payment over the phone, and I will send over a few introductory materials via email. I will then immediately order your blood test and the fun begins!

STEP 2: Lab Tests.

Next, you will receive an email with a scheduling link for your local laboratory, where you will go for your blood draw appointment as well as where and how to download your lab requisition. Within a day or so, you will receive your comprehensive lab results which are needed to generate your Metabolic Balance® 100% personalized meal plan.  As soon as I receive the results, I will upload them into the Metabolic Balance® portal along with all of your personal information and food preferences which you have sent to me beforehand. Then, we will eagerly await your meal plan to arrive!

STEP 3: Get Your Meal Plan & Begin Phase 1

As soon as your meal plan comes in, I will send you a welcome package with everything you need to get started with Phase 1 and Phase 2. Once you have this in hand, we will schedule your first 1-hour coaching session.

Formal Coaching Sessions

​

*Please know and always remember – In addition to the formal coaching sessions, I am available by text, phone call, or email, informally, throughout the program.  I am here for you when you need me!*

Session 1: Meal Plan & Phase 1 Prep

In this meeting, we will carefully read through your meal plan together where I will provide you with critical details, answer all of your questions, and provide you with helpful tips before you begin the journey through the Program starting with the 2-day preparation cleanse (Phase 1) and move into Phase 2.  I will be asking you the exact day you plan to start with Phase 1 so we can get the next 2 coaching sessions scheduled onto the calendar. We want to make sure we stay on track, and you get the all the coaching you’re entitled to in a timely manner!

Session 2: 16-Day Check-In

Once you have completed your 2-day Phase 1 cleanse and the first 14 days of Phase 2, (strict Phase 2) we will meet again to see how your weight goals are progressing. After these 16 days, healthy oils will be added in and you will remain in Phase 2 (extended Phase 2) for a minimum of another 14 days. At that time we will redo your measurements and see whether there are any areas where you might need more support. At the end of the second 14 days, I will determine whether you should stay in Phase 2 – extended and continue to lose weight, or to move into Phase 3.  At the very least we will add in a weekly treat meal (as guided by your coach).  You will stay in Phase 2 – extended until you are close to your ideal weight.

Sessions 3-7: Monthly Check-Ins

Starting at the 30-day mark, we will begin meeting once a month.  These sessions will include your Phase 3 and Phase 4 Check-ins, as described below. These face-to-face coaching sessions are designed to fully acknowledge and celebrate your accomplishments, to notice if there are areas you are struggling with and to help you work (play!) through them, to help keep you on track, and to encourage and support you to continue moving towards your health goals.  I will be with you throughout the whole journey!

Phase 3: Check-In

Once you are within 3-5 lbs of your goal weight, you will move into Phase 3. From here it gets easier to manage everyday life, as the restrictions will be lessened a bit and a trial-and-error-period of slowly adding back in some of your favorite foods that are not on your plan begins. You may slightly increase your food portions, and a weekly treat meal will continue to be allowed (as guided by your coach).  During this Phase, you will be paying close attention to  how these new foods make you feel, how they taste to you now, and your portion sizes.  This is a very important part of the program.  This new skill, along with what we have provided you in the plan, will be what carries you through the rest of your life successfully staying at your ideal weight.

Phase 4: Check-In

Once your metabolism is fully balanced and you have learned through trial and error which foods are good for your body, you will move into Stage 4 (the maintenance phase). I will help you transition back to your "regularly scheduled life" while continuing to follow the basic Metabolic Balance guidelines. Phase 4 is also known as the rest of your life Phase.  This where the program ends, and your new reality begins!!  I hope also that by now you will have a lifelong friend in me!
